0:00 Speaker A: The most impressive thing when I tried the Meta's new Ray Ban display glasses wasn't the screen. Speaker A: It was this neural band, a wristband that kind of reads your mind when you walk into the store. Speaker A: The first thing they have you try out are two different sizes, standard and large. Speaker A: There's no functional difference, just style. Speaker A: I went with the standard and honestly, they look way less bulky than you think. Speaker A: Almost identical to regular Ray Ban Wayfarers. Speaker A: And then they size your wrist to neuroband. Speaker A: There's three sizes. Speaker A: They call them 1, 2, 3.
0:25 Speaker A: I was between 2 and 3 and went with 2. Speaker A: Tighter fit, but it looked cleaner. Speaker A: The associate then connected everything and started the demo. Speaker A: And that's where my mind was blown. Speaker A: The display, it was cool. Speaker A: But we've seen that before with Google Glass. Speaker A: It's super useful for silent AI interactions, navigation, text calls. Speaker A: But the neural band is pure magic. Speaker A: It literally reads the electrical signals in your wrist muscles and interprets them using machine learning. Speaker A: Model on device, you're swiping, tapping, zooming, and your hand can be in your pocket.
0:54 Speaker A: Barely any visible moment to the people around you. Speaker A: Think about how we've interacted with technology. Speaker A: We went from punch cards to mouse and keyboard, and then to multitouch, where you can directly manipulate what you have on your screen. Speaker A: Today, the neural band is the next massive leap. Speaker A: Apple Vision Pro still needs cameras to watch your hand movement. Speaker A: This reads your nervous system directly, completely stealth. Speaker A: And they're adding handwriting recognition soon. Speaker A: This really is the future of interacting with everything. Speaker A: I hope they expand this to other devices like your appliances, computer, car.
1:20 Speaker A: Imagine controlling your entire world with gestures only you know you're making. Speaker A: Even more natural than multitouch. Speaker A: Go try it yourself if you can, and follow for a deep dive on the glasses as well.
